Claudia Neri

I am an economist at Zurich Insurance Group in Zürich, Switzerland.

I graduated from Northwestern University (USA) in June 2010 with a Ph.D. in Economics. Between September 2010 and July 2017 I was an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of St. Gallen.

On this website, you can learn about my academic research in behavioral and experimental economics. You can read, among others, about projects on: (1) how people form, use, and revise their expectations when taking strategic decisions, (2) how information and behaviors spread in social networks, (3) how people’s aversion to interference affect the delegation of decision rights. You can also find details on the laboratory experiments and online surveys I conducted to measure attributes affecting decision-making that would otherwise not be directly observable (e.g. expectations, preferences).
